Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced educator and healthcare professional to fill a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in our Masters' of Health Administration Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Health Information Technology, Health Care Operations, Project Management, Population Health, and Health Care Policy, among others. This is a 48-week term academic appointment, commencing in January 2024, with the possibility of renewal.
Key Responsibilities
Teach courses in the Masters' of Health Administration Program, including but not limited to:
Health Information Technology
Health Care Operations
Project Management
Population Health
Health Care Policy
Develop and maintain course materials, syllabi, and assessments
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and events
Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication
Contribute to the development and implementation of the MHA program
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree in health management, health policy, nursing, economics, public health, or a related field
Teaching experience, preferably in both in-person and online settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in a related field
Professional experience in healthcare, organizations, or consulting
Experience with course development and curriculum design
Published research in a related field
