Assistant Manager/ Manager, Regional Tax

And we need your help to get us there!Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are looking for a high-caliber individual to join as Assistant Tax Manager/ Tax Manager based in Hong Kong to support the regional finance team across the world. In this role, you will interact with the local region and countries to ensure local tax compliance and handle tax forecasts for the group. This means you will not only ensure tax standards are complied, you will also provide strategic guidance by identifying opportunities to add value to the business through tax strategies. What you'll do: Ensure all statutory compliance are meet for each marketHandle tax forecasts for the groupFormulate tax strategies by identifying opportunies that can add value to the businessEnhance overall tax control (including indirect taxes and corporate tax) of the groupLiaise and work seamlessly with local cities to solve any issues/mattersPerform ad-hoc projects as needed What we seek: 5+ years of experience in the regional tax functionA degree in Taxation/Accounting or Professional Qualification in Accounting & Finance (ie ACCA, CPA)Solid knowledge and experience in indirect taxes, transfer pricing and tax accounting, especially SEA markets.Good communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and with an analytical mindsetPositive attitude and strong business acumenStrong project management skills Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlineFluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Additional Information To all candidates- Lalamove respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.This Notice will inform you how we will use your personal data, explain your privacy rights and the protection you have by the law when you apply to join us.
