Job Description: The Asset Manager – Foreclosure & Auctions supports the end‑to‑end processing of foreclosure assets by listing, managing, and tracking properties scheduled for sale. This onshore role involves frequent communication with vendors, attorney firms, trustees, and auction partners to ensure accurate processing, timely updates, and compliance with established procedures. This is an ideal position for candidates with experience in foreclosure operations, real estate support, or auction processing who are comfortable working in a high‑volume, detail‑oriented environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Manage, market and sell a national portfolio of REO assets. Overseeing and monitoring the SLA performance and reporting of assigned properties/Assets. Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value of the assets, collaborate with product on capital projects (Bulk sales) and property management. Manage processes involved within pre-listing to close time frame. Reviewing operating statements for 4 key metrics. Processing requests for modifications of documents, funding requests and other situations requiring the Asset Manager’s analysis. Conduct market research, inventory/data analysis and revenue forecasting. Make recommendations based on this analysis. Cultivate market value to maximize investor returns (i.e., repairing vs. not repairing, targeted buying plan). Supervise and drive property managers to maximize value and profitability. Prevent asset related escalations. Evaluate property valuation information, reconcile and/or support recommended changes working in close collaboration with appraisers. Ensure that assets are maintained through property managers, reducing expenditures where possible while mitigating liability, reducing risks and maximizing returns. Effectively collaborate and drive outcomes in a team environment with in-house departments including the sales, product, marketing, field services and other partners to ensure a consistent understanding of performance expectations and efficient use of resources. List properties for sale, evaluate and negotiate offers, obtain approvals as appropriate within guidelines and policy & procedures. Communicate with investors, clients, and buyers and negotiate contracts. Develop strong relationships and proactive lines of communication with clients, colleagues and third parties. Identifying and escalating process failures and/or changes as needed Input all necessary data and communications to Equator and other necessary databases. Qualifications: Required Qualifications Experience in foreclosure processing, auction support, real estate operations, or mortgage servicing Understanding of foreclosure and auction processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy within repetitive or high‑volume tasks Ability to manage moderate to high workloads without errors Effective written and verbal communication skills for time‑sensitive coordination Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, tracking, basic reporting) Comfort using multiple systems and learning new tools (Equator, Hubzu, ICE, Tempo) Preferred Skills & Experience Experience working directly with foreclosure attorneys, closing attorney firms, trustees, or auction platforms Familiarity with sourcing property data from county websites and public records Background with real estate law firms, mortgage servicers, or auction companies Ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Tools & Systems Equator – case management and foreclosure workflow ICE – internal processing and workflow tracking Tempo – timeline and milestone tracking Hubzu – auction and listing platform Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word Internal shared documentation systems Additional Information: WORKING AT ALTISOURCE ADVANTAGES Prosperity Competitive salary of $22 to $22.50/hour 401k plans – we want to empower you to prepare for your future Good Health Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans Tax-free Flexible Spending Account Life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability Happiness Paid holidays, plus 19 days PTO first year for a total of 28 paid days off per year Our Innovation Starts with YOU !
