Assembly Manufacturing Technician Nights

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Purpose: Responsible to support the manufacturing process by completing preventative and unscheduled maintenance on all assembly production equipment

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
• Support manufacturing process in production department by responding to unscheduled breakdowns on production equipment
• Accurate completion of PM documents and assigned work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
• Assembly of new production fixtures and components
• Support continuous improvement practices by documenting improvements
• Monitor torque calibration program
• Verification of equipment to ensure all safety features are in working order
• Maintain overall orderliness and organization of the tool crib
• Support and demonstrate 5 "s" principles
• Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are being completed
• Participate in routine line set-ups
• Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives
• Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in assembly/production maintenance
• Experience in hydraulics, pnuematics, & electronics preferred
• Basic computer skills

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Current forklift certification
• Data entry of work orders / PM sheets
• Ability to focus on assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner

Training:
• Reference OJT

Physical Demands:
• Ability to walk or stand 90% of shift
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to twist, bend, stoop and climb ladders/stairs
