About the Project
High Times is developing a new line of branded rolling papers and is seeking a bold, original designer or illustrator to create packaging artwork for the product booklet.
This is a paid contract opportunity. We’re looking for work that captures the spirit of High Times: iconic, culturally aware, visually striking and authentic to cannabis history without relying on clichés.
Scope of Work
The selected designer will:
• Develop 1–2 original packaging concepts
• Create final production-ready artwork (print-ready files)
• Collaborate with the High Times team on light revisions
• Deliver finalized artwork for manufacturing
Final deliverables must include editable source files (AI or PSD) and a print-ready PDF.
Intellectual Property
Applicants retain all rights to any submitted materials. High Times will not use any submitted concepts or designs unless there is a signed agreement and payment. Any transfer or licensing of rights will be handled through a paid contract.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong illustration or graphic design portfolio
• Packaging design experience preferred
• Strong visual storytelling and brand instincts
• Ability to represent cannabis culture thoughtfully and creatively
• Professional communication and ability to meet deadlines
Required Application Materials
To be considered, applicants must submit:
• Portfolio link (website, Behance, or similar)
• A one-page concept proposal (PDF) outlining your creative direction for High Times rolling papers packaging (no full design required at this stage)
• A short 60–120 second video introducing yourself and explaining why your style fits High Times and how you would approach the design
