Art Director/UI Designer for web and social ad campaigns - Contract to Hire

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and innovative Art Director / Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role involves leading visual projects, developing compelling branding strategies, and producing high-quality digital and print designs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for aesthetics, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As an integral part of our organization, you will shape the visual identity of our brand across various platforms, ensuring consistency and engaging storytelling through design. Responsibilities: • Lead art direction for branding initiatives, advertising campaigns, and digital content • Create motion graphics and video content via standard animation tools • Develop concepts and layouts for B2B and B2C social ads, web videos and presentation materials • Produce digital art, illustrations, and photo manipulations using Adobe Photoshop and other digital design software • Manage web design projects including UI/UX design for websites • Collaborate with marketing team to develop engaging content that enhances brand visibility across social media platforms • Utilize Figma and other prototyping tools for layout design • Apply color management principles and typography best practices to ensure visual consistency across all media • Oversee production design processes from concept through execution while maintaining high standards of quality • Stay current with industry trends in digital art, graphic design, motion graphics, and web development to continually enhance creative output Skills: • Strong expertise in art direction with a focus on branding and visual storytelling • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and video editing • Experience with digital design tools such as Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and InVision • Ability to create compelling illustrations and digital art with excellent photo manipulation skills • Understanding of color theory and color management techniques to ensure accurate visual representation • Strong presentation skills to communicate concepts effectively to internal teams • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously This position offers an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a company that is planning to disrupt its industry, while contributing creatively within a collaborative environment.
