Your tasks will include:First-line support: Assisting with reported issues.Troubleshooting: Investigating security alerts in various SOC systems.Process enhancements: Streamlining day-to-day operations through workflow improvements.Case management: Escalating and resolving cases across different environments.Project participation: Contributing to technical projects, incident response and user access reviews.Team support: Assisting the Security Operations Team, creating and improving existing documentation, and other assigned project activities.Qualifications:Current University/College student.Solid understanding of networking principles.Solid understanding of administering Windows and Linux OS’s.Availability to work at least 2-3 days a week.Experience with Microsoft 365.Experience with various scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate cross-functionally.Highly organized, responsive, and energetic.Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills.Knowledge of cloud environments.Computer Information Systems focus is also advantageous.Familiarity with SIEM technology, log aggregation, and cloud computing.Other Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
