Hours: 25-30 hours per week
Schedule: 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM (Can be flexible)
Work Type: Onsite Only
Caseload: 8 Students
Hourly Pay Range: $38 - $48 per hour (Based on experience)
Requirements:
Valid Connecticut Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (TDHH) certification
Experience with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Knowledge of IEP procedures and assessments
Background check and fingerprinting required
Description:
Urgently seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing ("TDHH") to join the team in Hartford, CT! This part-time opportunity allows for flexibility in hours and offers the chance to work with a small caseload of 8 students. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Connecticut TDHH certification, experience with IEPs, and a passion for supporting deaf and hard of hearing students.
Responsibilities:
Provide educational support for students with hearing impairments
Work collaboratively with parents, staff, and specialists to ensure students academic success
Develop and implement customized educational strategies
Utilize assistive devices and technology for enhanced learning
