What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract qualified candidates for nursing positions within specified timeframes
- Develop and execute a local strategy in partnership with nursing leadership to meet workforce goals
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System and manage job postings
- Conduct outreach to nursing schools through class visits, career fairs, and community events
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure fair hiring practices and alignment with workforce planning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience
- Experience in campus recruitment, particularly for nursing, is highly preferred
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in human resources or an acute healthcare environment
- Previous healthcare recruiting experience
- Strong internet recruiting skills and ability to source candidates creatively
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and hiring leaders
- Excellent phone interviewing skills to evaluate candidates for cultural fit
