Business Analyst, Clinical Value (Remote)
About the position Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret operational, outcome, and financial datasets and reports. • Work closely with analysts, managers, and leaders from various teams including clinical, health plan, Medical Economics, and Finance. • Participate in management reviews, presenting and interpreting analysis results. • Document changes to existing business processes and identify new opportunities for improvements. • Conduct analysis to identify root causes and assist with problem management related to state requirements. • Analyze business workflow and system needs for conversions and migrations. • Prepare high-level user documentation as needed. • Collaborate with supporting areas and processes for data analysis and synthesis. • Package data-centric source material for senior leaders, including C Suite executives. Requirements • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 3-5 years of business analysis experience. • 4+ years of managed care experience. • Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures applicable to the job. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Excel Power User and Power BI experience. • Experience in making complex data easily digestible for various audiences. • 1-3 years of formal training in Business Analysis and/or Systems Analysis. • Understanding of Utilization Management and/or Case Management processes, data, metrics, KPIs. • Finance and/or Accounting experience or aptitude.
