Application Integration Developer

They are seeking an Application Integration Developer to design, build, and support integrations and automations that facilitate reliable data exchange across business platforms.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering and supporting integration solutions (file transfers, ETL, and API-based integrations) that enable reliable data exchange across business systemsBuild and maintain integrations across internal and external systems using APIs, ETL processes, and file-based data transfersDevelop and support automated workflows that move, transform, and validate data between applications while ensuring reliability and data integrityTroubleshoot integration failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative fixes to improve system stabilityApply secure integration practices, including encryption, least privilege access controls, and secure handling of sensitive dataPartner with business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical integration solutionsDevelop lightweight web applications or automation tools to support ERP systems and other business workflowsMonitor and maintain existing integrations to ensure uptime, performance, and accurate data synchronization across systemsMaintain technical documentation including integration specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks using tools such as Jira and ConfluenceUse Git-based version control and participate in code reviews and standard SDLC practices for development, testing, and deploymentSupport system upgrades, testing cycles, vendor integrations, and production releases as neededIdentify opportunities to improve integrations and automate business processes to increase efficiency across departmentsSkills1–3 years of experience developing and supporting integrations, automation workflows, or data pipelinesWorking knowledge of integration approaches, including file-based transfers, ETL processes, and REST API integrationsProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScriptStrong SQL skills, including querying, transforming, and troubleshooting data within relational databasesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose integration and data flow issuesStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholdersExperience using version control tools such as Git or GitHubExperience with automation tools such as PowerShell or Power AutomateExperience working with API development or testing toolsFamiliarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BIExperience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience integrating with or supporting NetSuite ERP systemsExperience working with Microsoft Azure servicesBenefitsGenerous paid holidays and Summer Fridays.Company-paid year-end office closure between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day each yearComprehensive health benefits, including short-term and long-term disability.Retirement savings (401k) and life insurance.Vacation, Personal, and Sick time off.Company OverviewABRAMS is a publisher of high-quality art and illustrated books publishing visually illustrated books in the areas of photography and more.
