Job Description: • The Applications Architect is responsible for evaluating, designing, and building an organization's business needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure. • This individual will have an expert level understanding of programming methodologies and will be able to evaluate code to ensure alignment with existing design patterns and approaches. • Their day-to-day interactions will encompass business, system, information, security, application, and technology architecture for BRP. • This WILL BE a hands-on design, build, and ship of coded software solutions. • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Have commanding knowledge of internal and external system solutions required to meet business requirements and influence adoption. • Work with business and tech teams to build out solutions for requested enhancements and new software deliverables. • Build and ship code to meet all new or enhanced software deliverables. • Review developer code to ensure alignment with existing design patterns prior to release. • Be the lead on all developer code to ensure quality and alignment with standards. • Provide coaching to the development team to reinforce coding standards. • Work with Digital Product, BAs, and developers to create software solutions. • Participate in various meetings as a key member of the IT organization. • Support business initiatives to onboard and integrate new sources of revenue. • Support the development of annual budgets for information technology projects. • Serve as technical liaison with direct relationships between IT, business owners, clients, and other external partners. • Support business priorities with a consistent application delivery strategy and governance structure. • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support implementations, security, and compliance and help minimize risk. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in technology related field • 5+ years working in Insurance or Financial Services a plus • 5+ years working in as architect role or senior developer with hands on keys coding main focus • 7+ years of overall development experience Benefits: Apply tot his job
