Operates independently within the defined scope of responsibilities.The APeX Surgical and Anesthesia Services (SAS) team falls under the Health IT department, which is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of UCSF electronic health record (Epic) and related technologies. The APeX SAS Analyst position will report directly to the APeX SAS Team Lead/Supervisor and up through the Director of Clinical Applications.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The APeX Surgical and Anesthesia Services P2 Analyst will work in collaboration with senior SAS analysts, other APeX application teams, clinical/business operations, and guides to enhance and maintain the Epic electronic health record. The P2 analyst provides excellent customer service to end users, tracks issues, and follows up as appropriate. Analysts will work in multiple locations, including UCSF Medical Center locations, Benioff Children’s Hospitals-Oakland and San Francisco, UCSF campus, and community connect partners.
