Reporting to the APAC Regional Managing Director (RMD), you'll lead the technical execution of our regional strategy while building world-class products that bridge blockchain and AI technologies for enterprise clients.This is a senior technical leadership role where you'll have significant autonomy over product and engineering decisions while working closely with regional leadership to achieve our ambitious growth targets. You'll have the autonomy of a founder with the backing of a global blockchain leader, shaping the future of enterprise blockchain and AI solutions across the world's most dynamic markets.Your MissionTransform Nethermind's APAC presence from a promising footprint into a revenue-generating powerhouse by building world-class products that bridge blockchain and AI technologies for enterprise clients across the region.Key Responsibilities:Technical Product LeadershipDefine and execute the technical product roadmap aligned with APAC business strategyLead product development lifecycle from ideation to launch for 1 flagship productMake technical decisions on architecture, tech stack, and feature prioritizationWork with the Regional Managing Director to ensure products meet market requirementsCreate technical IP in blockchain/AI convergenceEngineering Excellence & Team BuildingAssemble and/or Build and lead a team of engineers and product managers across APACManage engineering hiring, performance, and retention in collaboration with regional leadershipDefine engineering standards, development methodologies, and quality benchmarksManage technical budget allocation within approved R&D budgetTechnical Strategy & InnovationProvide technical expertise to support the Regional Managing Director's business development effortsLead technical due diligence for partnerships identified by regional leadershipDefine APAC-specific technical requirements based on regional needsDrive innovation in areas unique to APAC marketsOwn technical documentation and developer education initiativesSupporting Business DevelopmentServe as senior technical resource for customer meetings arranged by the RMDConduct technical deep-dives and proof-of-concepts for enterprise prospectsPartner with sales team to articulate technical value propositionsEnsure successful technical implementation for customers acquired by business teamProvide technical input for pricing and commercial discussions when requestedTechnical Ecosystem DevelopmentRepresent Nethermind at technical conferences and developer forumsBuild relationships with technical leaders at partner organizationsLead technical partnerships with educational and enterprise research institutionsManage developer community engagement and open-source contributionsSupport the RMD in building Nethermind's technical reputation in APACWhat You Bring:Essential Experience8+ years in technical product management and/or engineering leadership roles5+ years working in APAC markets with understanding of regional technical requirementsProven track record of shipping enterprise products and scaling engineering teamsExperience building and leading distributed teams of 20+ engineersDeep technical expertise in distributed systems, with blockchain experience preferredTrack record of supporting business growth through technical excellenceTechnical ExpertiseStrong foundation in distributed systems, cryptography, and consensus mechanismsUnderstanding of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and DeFi protocolsFamiliarity with AI/ML systems and their intersection with blockchainAbility to architect systems for enterprise-grade reliability and scaleExperience with cloud infrastructure and modern engineering practicesLeadership QualitiesCollaborative approach to working with business leadershipStrong technical communication skills for both internal teams and external stakeholdersAbility to balance technical excellence with business prioritiesCultural awareness to effectively manage teams across diverse APAC marketsCommitment to Nethermind's mission and valuesReporting StructureReports to: APAC Regional Managing DirectorDotted Line: Global CEO (Prev.
