What You'll Do:

As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Reviewing, coding, and inputting invoices and expense reports into the accounts payable system accurately and efficiently.

Reconciling credit card statements to ensure all expenses are accounted for.

Preparing and posting manual payments and processing check runs to vendors and employees.

Assisting with month-end accruals to maintain accurate financial records.

Reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling accounts payable reports to ensure data integrity.

Maintaining organized vendor files and electronic records, including handling confidential information with care.

Preparing monthly aging reports of accounts payable and assisting with supplier inquiries.

Supporting the accounts payable team with additional tasks as needed, ensuring timely and professional communication.

Upholding compliance with all HIPAA and PHI guidelines, maintaining the security of sensitive information.

Demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Performing other related business functions as assigned, ensuring an organized, productive workflow.

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate will have:

A high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.

At least 5 years of high-volume, computerized accounts payable experience.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Data entry skills with a 10-key by touch.

Customer service mindset and positive team-oriented attitude.

Knowledge of 1099 reporting and adherence to confidentiality guidelines.
