Antitrust Attorney

Job Title: Antitrust Attorney Location: Chicago, IL About the Opportunity: A nationally recognized plaintiffs’ firm is seeking an experienced Antitrust Attorney to join its growing team in Chicago/Los Angeles. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, complex litigation cases that focus on protecting consumers and promoting fair competition. Key Responsibilities: • Handle all phases of complex antitrust and competition litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. • Collaborate with senior attorneys on major class action cases involving price-fixing, monopolization, and unfair competition. • Analyze economic and market data to identify anticompetitive practices and support the development of cases. • Participate in settlement negotiations and manage client communication. • Work closely with a collaborative team dedicated to advancing consumer rights and corporate accountability. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Active Chicago/California Bar license. • 3–8 years of experience in antitrust, complex litigation, or class actions. • Strong writing, analytical, and research skills. • Experience handling large-scale discovery and working with expert economists is a plus. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
