Responsibilities:
- Design and develop user interfaces for a rich user experience
- Write tested and documented code in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Write clean, efficient, and well-optimized code
- Build compelling web... applications using best practices of the AngularJS framework
- Ensure high performance in desktop and mobile applications
- Work with other developers to maintain workflow and integrate various components
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience working with Angular (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Good knowledge of JavaScript MVVM/MVC frameworks including Angular
- Experience in writing cross-browser compatible code
- Capability to implement AngularJS applications, directives, controllers, and services
- Strong knowledge of source control systems, such as Git
- Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
- The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with U.S. time zones
Preferred skills:
- Experience using JavaScript building tools (like Gulp, Grunt, etc.)
- Working knowledge of database, APIs, proxies, caching layer, and other web services
- Familiarity with RESTful services
- Familiarity with back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Working knowledge of technologies such as AJAX and DOM manipulation techniques
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Mocha, Jasmine, etc.)
- Working knowledge of test runner tools (e.g. Karma, JEST, etc.)
