The Analyst Finance role involves driving budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing financial performance, and providing analytical support to various teams within the organization.ResponsibilitiesDrive the annual budget, monthly re‑forecast, and long‑range planning processes for Marketing and G&A investments in partnership with business leaders across the organizationAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, gathering inputs from stakeholders and ensuring data accuracy and consistencySupport balance sheet (working capital) and cash flow operating plan on a regular basis to provide early visibility of changes and risks & opportunities in a concise and effective mannerTrack and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and variances versus budget and forecastReview financial results and develop clear, concise summaries and analyses of segment and consolidated performance for leadershipPrepare and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and scorecards for senior management and cross‑functional partnersAssist with the preparation, maintenance, and automation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and cross‑functional reportsProvide analytical support to functional teams on routine finance questions, ad‑hoc requests, and performance driversConduct ad‑hoc analyses related to new initiatives, operational changes, cost optimization, or investment decisionsPartner closely with Accounting to enhance month‑end close and reporting, ensuring accurate accruals and expense allocationsSupport maintenance and enhancements of planning and reporting tools (e.g., NSPB / Oracle‑based planning systems)Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and quality of financial models, reporting processes, and data sourcesAssist with preparing company and departmental presentations for senior leadershipSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field1–3+ years of financial analysis or FP&A experience, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, G&A, CapEx, or working capital (internships and early‑career experience considered)Strong Excel and financial modeling skillsSolid understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and basic accounting principlesAbility to analyze large data sets and synthesize insights into clear, actionable takeaways for leadershipHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsClear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information in a straightforward mannerDemonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced environmentEagerness to learn, improve processes, and grow within a dynamic finance organizationFamiliarity with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP or planning systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) preferredBenefitsWellness programs with fitness and weight management partnersPaid maternity paternity leaveInfertility treatmentFlexible time offCompetitive 401k planCompany OverviewFanatics is a global sports platform reimagining the fan experience across gear, trading cards, sports betting, content, events, and more.
