Analyst, Equity Portfolio Management

The Analyst will join the Equity Portfolio Management team in Boston, supporting portfolio management activities and enhancing investment processes through quantitative analysis. Responsibilities Support members of the Equity Portfolio Management team in various aspects of portfolio management, including oversight and research Assist in the analysis of the drivers of performance of various equity strategies Assist in responding to ad-hoc queries from clients, consultants, and prospects Collaborate with other members of the team to identify and deploy enhancements to our investment process Develop a strong understanding of the Acadian equity investment process Skills Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field 1-3 years of experience in finance, preferably asset management, with emphasis on quantitative investing and risk management Strong knowledge of quantitative models and techniques Strong programming background required, e.g., in Python Willingness and ability to work in a collegial, result-focused environment Strong verbal and written communications skills Advanced degree in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, or similar discipline Benefits Discretionary incentive compensation Comprehensive benefits program Health Retirement Wellness offerings Company Overview Acadian Asset Management LLC is an investment adviser headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
