As a key member of the DTC Strategy team, you will play a vital role in driving profitable growth and innovation by collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide market intelligence, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable strategies and business plans. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Analyst, DTC Strategy to join our remote team immediately. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting DTC and Disney leadership in driving business growth and innovation. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop complex financial models, analyze subscriber engagement data, and create executive-level presentations to inform strategic decision making. Key Responsibilities Structure and build complex financial models to inform decision making across a variety of projects, including new business development opportunities and growth strategies. Analyze subscriber engagement data to inform content distribution strategies and optimize business performance. Complete market research by analyzing and synthesizing data from a variety of sources, including industry reports, market trends, and competitor analysis. Create presentations to summarize key insights and recommendations for streaming leadership and broader Disney leadership team. Develop financial models and analyses to support decision making and strategic initiatives, including pricing, product feature prioritization, content investment, and windowing. Track industry trends and complete market research to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving streaming landscape. Develop executive-level presentations to summarize strategic initiatives for leadership team, including earnings call preparations and Investor Day materials. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university, with a strong academic record and relevant coursework. 1-2 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, consulting firm, or comparable corporate strategy/development group, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality analysis and recommendations. Advanced technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis. An analytical mindset and ability to structure ambiguous problems, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data-driven decision making. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex ideas to senior leadership and other stakeholders. A passion for streaming entertainment and technology, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Prior experience in the entertainment industry, with a deep understanding of the streaming landscape and its key players. Experience working with large datasets and complex financial models, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
