Empower Yourself.The Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Alert/Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst, assists with the Company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines relating to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), USA PATRIOT Act, and other anti-money laundering program requirements. This staff position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the enterprise wide program for detecting, reporting and preventing money laundering and financial crimes.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Conduct new and existing client reviews within established SLA.Identify, review and monitor high-risk clients and ensure written analysis and supporting documentation is complete.Conduct risk-based research and written analysis of clients who require periodic reviewPerform 1st level Payments Screening timely to reduce false positivesReview weekly OFAC files for proper alert generationParticipate in projects and other tasks assigned by the CDD managerEnsure timely escalation and referral of identified clients requiring further investigationAssist other AML teams with tasks as necessary.Partner with internal contacts as needed to provide oversight of the company’s AML programEDUCATION:College degree OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:College degree and 2-4 years of directly related work experience required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership/negotiation skills and able to take ownership of self-professional development, and self-driven toward career goals.Multi-dimensional and adaptable team player, able to tackle a diversity of duties while performing non-analyst or silo style roles and solidly demonstrating initiative.Self-starter and problem-solver with the ability to deliver results with minimal hands-on guidance.AML investigation experience preferred.Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to interface with a variety of colleagues, including associates and senior management alike, are required.Exceptional research and analytical skills are required.Technology tools that this resource must have experience using: Excel, Word, OutlookPrevious experience with AML software technologies a plusTypical office environment.Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with strict deadlines.
