Analyst, Business Sr - Servicing Operations

Summary : The Analyst, Business Sr - Servicing Operations is responsible for analyzing business processes and system data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for operational improvement. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, develop reporting solutions, and produce data insights that support decision-making. The position requires strong technical skills in data querying, reporting tools, and data warehouse environments including Snowflake. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : Analyze business operations and system data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements. Develop and maintain reporting solutions using data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake. Write and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple operational systems. Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements. Create dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Tableau or similar BI tools. Validate and reconcile data across systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting. Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies including missing or inaccurate data. Support business initiatives by translating business needs into technical reporting and analytics solutions. Develop documentation for reporting processes, data sources, and business logic. Communicate findings and insights to cross-functional teams and leadership through presentations and reports. Collaborate with technology and data teams to improve data quality and reporting infrastructure. Assist in managing projects related to reporting, analytics, and process improvements. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts as needed. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Supervisory Responsibilities : This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance or mentorship to junior analysts. Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse platforms. Strong SQL querying and data analysis experience. Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence/reporting tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Education and/or Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant business analysis, reporting, or data analytics experience. Mortgage servicing and credit reporting experience preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : None Required Work Complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult and complex, and may require understanding of broader set of issues. Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues and understanding of the financial/mortgage industry. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.
