Amharic Translator
Big Language Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Amharic Translator to join our team.
At Big Language Solutions we believe in connecting the world through communication.
We need vendors who meet one of the California Election Code criteria (state or federal court certified interpreter in the US, attended an accredited US college or university, ATA Voting Member, etc) and they have to be able to submit 3 references (This can just be a first and last name and email address of the reference.). We need to also be able to include an unredacted document proving their election code compliant status (diploma, court certification document or card, etc).
Responsibilities
• Translate a variety of documents from one language to another, while maintaining the content, context, and tone of the original text.
• Responsive to emails and/or phone calls
• Ability to meet short deadlines while Managing multiple projects and deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of sensitive information.
Requirements
• Must use Word and PDF
• Trados Studio and MemoQ experience preferred
• Minimum of three years of professional experience as a translator
Job Type: Contract
Rate: $0.10 per source word
• Rate is subjective based on experience, training, education and location. There are some situations where the rate could be outside the notated range.
