### Job Description:
As an Onboard Support Flight Attendant with American Airlines, you play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for exceptional service. You will assist in various functions of the cabin service, ensure passenger comfort, and respond swiftly and professionally to onboard emergencies or specific needs.
### Responsibilities:
– Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate safety and emergency measures, such as the use of oxygen masks and life vests
– Offer personalized customer service to enhance passenger experience
– Manage in-flight sales and service of food, beverages, and duty-free items
– Handle special situations or requests from passengers with patience and professionalism
– Provide special assistance to passengers with disabilities or special needs
– Maintain the cleanliness of the cabin area before, during, and after flights
### Requirements:
– Minimum age requirement is 18 years
– High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus
– Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is preferred
– Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Physical ability to manage frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, lifting of up to 35 pounds, and pushing of beverage carts
– Must pass a rigorous medical and background check
### Educational Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or GED required
– Associates or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communication, or related field preferred
### Experience:
– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or airline industry preferred but not required
