### Job Description:
As a Flight Attendant with American Airlines, you will be an ambassador of our brand and a first point of contact for our guests. Your duties will include performing pre-flight cabin checks, demonstrating emergency equipment usage, and serving refreshments. ### Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct pre-flight inspections of all cabin emergency equipment.
– Demonstrate the correct use of safety equipment and procedures.
– Manage in-flight sales and service of food, beverages, and duty-free items.
– Address passengers’ queries courteously and professionally.
– Provide special assistance to passengers such as the elderly, small children, or those with disabilities.
– Administer and coordinate in-flight emergencies as required, providing leadership and direction to passengers.
### Requirements:
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous.
– Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
– Ability to work varied hours and adhere to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
– Capable of handling on-the-fly decision-making in high-pressure environments.
– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
– Physical ability to manage the demands of the job including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
– Must pass a background check, drug screening, and possess a valid passport.
