About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-sufficient Airbnb Property Designer & Caretaker to help maintain and oversee our short-term rental properties. This is a flexible, independent contractor role where you will ensure that properties are well-staged, organized, and guest-ready at all times. Youll also handle various property-related tasks such as receiving deliveries, coordinating with service providers, and assisting guests when needed.
This is a kid-friendly role! If you are a stay-at-home parent who can efficiently complete tasks while having your children with you, this position offers flexibility while allowing you to earn extra income.
Responsibilities:
Property Checks & Staging: Ensure properties are properly staged, organized, and stocked with essential items.
Inventory Management: Monitor and restock necessary supplies (toiletries, linens, cleaning products).
Deliveries & Package Handling: Receive and bring in packages or necessary supplies for the properties.
On-Site Vendor Coordination: Be present for scheduled property services (WiFi setup, pest control, furniture deliveries, maintenance appointments).
Errands & Logistics: Pick up and drop off supplies, documents, or keys as needed.
Guest Assistance: Provide occasional support, such as opening the door for guests who have locked themselves out.
Minor Troubleshooting: Assist with small property issues like WiFi resets or adjusting smart locks.
Requirements:
Reliable Transportation Must be able to travel between properties and complete errands.
Smartphone with Internet Access For task updates, scheduling, and communication.
Availability & Flexibility Must be available for scheduled tasks and occasional urgent requests.
Self-Sufficient & Reliable Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal oversight.
Trustworthy & Professional Since youll handle keys, guest interactions, and property access.
Legally Eligible to Work as an Independent Contractor Must handle own taxes and invoices.
Ability to Complete Tasks Effectively with Children Present This role is family-friendly, but tasks must still be done efficiently and professionally.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, But a Plus!):
Experience in Airbnb/short-term rental management, home staging, or interior design
Customer service or hospitality background
Some technical knowledge (resetting WiFi, using smart locks)
How It Works:
Task-Based Pay You will be paid per completed task, with a rate of $20 per hour based on the estimated time for each task.
Independent Contractor You will be responsible for your own taxes and must submit invoices for completed work.
