Airbnb Co-Host / Virtual Assistant — Nighttime Shift (8pm–8am EST)
About the Role: I manage 4 Airbnb listings and need a dependable VA to cover guest messaging and light coordination during US nighttime hours. This role is usually very light (some nights there may be no messages at all), but you must be available for late-night arrivals, check-in issues, lockouts, or urgent guest needs. Responsibilities: •Monitor Airbnb inbox nightly and respond within 1 hour. • Use provided templates to answer common questions (Wi-Fi, parking, laundry, pets, etc.). • Handle check-in issues and help guests access the apartment if they have difficulties. • Escalate urgent issues (lockouts, safety concerns, major complaints) immediately. • Occasionally coordinate with cleaners for various issues. • Log unusual issues in the shared tracking system (details provided once hired) • Handle all guest issues directly using SOPs and templates. In the beginning, involve me for urgent situations (safety concerns, serious property issues), money matters (refunds, discounts, special pricing), or longer-term booking requests • The goal is for you to become fully self-sufficient very quickly, with me only handling special cases Schedule & Availability: • About 15 hours/month. Be available during the overnight times EST every day. • Best fit for applicants in Asia (Philippines, India, Pakistan) time zones • This is a 7-night role, including weekends and holidays. Workload is usually very light, but reliability is essential. • If you occasionally need time off (for example, 6–8 hours for personal reasons), you must coordinate coverage with the Daytime VA and log it in the shared system. • If your availability is slightly different (e.g. 7pm–7am), small adjustments can be considered as long as 24/7 coverage is always maintained. Compensation: • $100/month flat (trial month). • After 30–60 days, pay will be reviewed and may increase if workload or responsibilities expand. • There is opportunity to grow into a larger role over time if you prove dependable.
