The AIM Analyst/Senior Analyst will focus on data governance of investment data, ensuring data quality and consistency across systems while collaborating with investment teams to enhance reporting and operational processes.ResponsibilitiesEnsure data quality and maintain data accuracy and consistency between the investments system (Aladdin), accounting system (PAM) and the local data warehouseDesign and perform data quality checks and controlsConduct reconciliations of investment data across systems and resolve discrepanciesEnhance and improve incomplete or incorrect dataMaintain portfolio setup ensuring consistency and timely updates of portfolio data across the systemsCollaborate with investment teams to define reporting business requirements and support development, testing and implementation in the local data warehouseEnhance existing PowerBI data models to support investment management and operations reportingSupport investment management teams with investment data analysisIdentify opportunities to enhance operational processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce riskIntegrate best practices and procedures, including metrics for assessing progress in data managementCreate, manage, and continually improve a culture that enables trust in data, information-on-demand and scheduled/ad-hoc reports for investment management, investment operation teams and other stakeholdersMaintain the data glossary to ensure consistent definitions and understanding of key termsUtilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)Skills1+ years of experienceRelevant internship experience or experience in the investment industryBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data science or related fieldStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracy, passion for dataYou must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
