AI Workflow Automation & Agentic Systems Specialist (Project-Based, Long-Term Potential) - Contract to Hire

We’re looking for an experienced AI automation specialist who doesn’t just build workflows — but understands how businesses actually run, where they break down, and how intelligent systems can make them meaningfully better.

This role is about thinking in systems. You’ll work closely with us to understand our operations, identify inefficiencies we may not even see yet, and design agentic, AI-driven workflows that improve speed, reliability, and decision-making across the business.

This is not a one-off automation task. We want someone who can take ownership end-to-end: from discovery and design, through implementation, optimization, and iteration — with the opportunity for ongoing collaboration if it’s a strong fit.

What You’ll Do

Design and build AI-powered agents (LLM-based, chat, internal tools, and potentially voice)

Architect end-to-end automation workflows across:

Marketing operations

Lead intake and qualification

CRM and pipeline management

Internal processes and operational handoffs

Integrate AI systems with real business tools:

CRMs

Calendars

Email and messaging platforms

Web apps, APIs, and internal systems

Create scalable, production-ready automation logic:

Error handling and fallbacks

Edge-case handling

Clear state and decision flow

Continuously optimize existing automations for reliability, performance, and clarity

Document systems clearly so they can grow and evolve over time

What We’re Looking For

Strong hands-on experience building AI-driven workflows and agentic systems

Deep comfort with:

LLM-based agents

APIs, webhooks, and system integrations

Automation orchestration (custom or platform-based)

Solid understanding of business processes, not just technical plumbing

Ability to reason through complex, real-world scenarios where requirements are messy

Strong problem-solving instincts and debugging skills

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with voice agents or conversational AI

CRM and marketing automation experience

Strong understanding of prompt design and LLM behavior

Familiarity with scalable automation and agent design patterns
