AI Python Developer
Position: AI Python Developer (Azure & LangGraph) B2B / Freelancer Contract Location: Remote open to candidates based in the European Union, Serbia, or Moldova Role Overview We are looking for an experienced AI Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, modular, and cloud-native backend architectures. The role involves building intelligent backend systems using Python, Azure services, and LangGraph-based agentic workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create AI-driven automation and orchestration systems that support dynamic, data-rich applications across various environments. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using Python 3.x with a focus on modularity, scalability, and maintainability. Integrate and optimize cloud-based services within Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, App Services, CosmosDB, and Blob Storage. Implement and manage LangGraph workflows for AI-driven task automation and agentic orchestration. Define and maintain APIs, data models, and service contracts in collaboration with data and product teams. Ensure CI/CD pipelines are reliable, automated, and aligned with modern DevOps best practices. Monitor and troubleshoot distributed systems using Azure monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools. Work within Agile methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of code quality, testing coverage, and overall engineering standards. Required Skills & Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development, including RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices. Strong experience with Azure services, including Functions, App Service, Container Apps, CosmosDB, and PostgreSQL. Hands-on knowledge of LangGraph or comparable agentic frameworks (such as LangChain or GPT-based orchestration). Familiarity with DevOps workflows and tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes. Understanding of event-driven architecture, data pipelines, and message queue systems (e.g., Azure Service Bus). Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate. Experience in MLOps, NLP, or Generative AI (GenAI) applications. Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks and vector database integrations.
