AI Prompt Engineer – Fashion & Apparel Focus (Art Director Level)
We’re seeking a seasoned AI Prompt Engineer with a strong foundation in fashion and apparel and the visual acumen of an Art Director.
This role combines creative direction with technical execution, leveraging generative AI tools to produce high-quality, brand-aligned visual content at scale. If you thrive at the intersection of style, strategy, and innovation and you are and effective collaborator, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Prompt optimization for brand campaign, e-commerce, and editorial content
• Translate brand aesthetics and art direction into consistent outputs
• Collaborate with creative directors, stylists, and production teams
• Ability to achieve studio-quality editorial apparel imagery
• Maintain prompt libraries that scale across SKUs, colorways, and style categories
• Experiment with multi-model pipelines to enhance realism, lighting, and textile fidelity
• Contribute to creative direction with a deep understanding of silhouette, fabric behavior, and seasonal trends
Core Tools & Platforms
• Google AI: Google Ai Ultra, Gemini, Imagen 2, Flow, ImageFX
• Stable Diffusion: Model tuning, inpainting/outpainting, ControlNet, ComfyUI or A1111
• Adobe Suite: Proficient in Photoshop, primarily clean up, adjustments, sizing/formatting
Qualifications
• Experience in art direction, visual design, or fashion content creation
• Proven experience using AI to create apparel visuals or campaigns
• Ability to emulate fabric textures, model poses, lighting, and environments using AI
• Strong aesthetic judgment and fluency in visual storytelling
• Prose & Narrative Prompting: Proficient in writing descriptive, prose-style prompts that construct a coherent scene or narrative. This includes using natural language to detail the subject, setting, atmosphere, and the relationships between elements, guiding the AI to produce more emotive and contextually accurate imagery beyond simple keyword-based generation.

• Experience with Figma.
• Knowledge of product photography standards including PDP, lookbooks, and campaign formats
