We are building an AI-powered concierge system to automate up to 80% of repetitive guest inquiries across hotels and short-term rentals. Guests will be able to interact with the bot via WApp and text SMS, receiving instant, context-aware responses about facilities, amenities, policies, and local recommendations. When the AI detects complex or sensitive requests, it should seamlessly escalate the conversation to human staff, preserving the full chat context for continuity. Requirements: - Conversational AI engine trained on property-specific data (amenities, policies, local recommendations). - WApp & SMS integration via Twilio (or similar messaging API). - Property Management Module for structured storage of hotel/host data. - Smart escalation layer: AI-to-human handoff with context transfer. - Basic booking workflows: late checkout requests, room service, maintenance tickets. - Multi-language support (AI translations for international guests). Core Features: - Instant FAQ resolution (WiFi, check-in/out, gym hours, etc.) - Restaurant and attraction recommendations (location-aware, configurable by staff). - Room service, housekeeping, and maintenance request routing. - Check-in/check-out reminders and assistance. - Conversation analytics & reporting (frequent questions, staff load reduction). Tech considerations (TBD): - Backend: Node.js / Python (open to recommendation). - Messaging layer: Twilio API or equivalent. - AI layer: OpenAI / Anthropic API with fine-tuned prompts and retrieval-based knowledge base. - Database: PostgreSQL / Firebase for property & guest data.
