Key Responsibilities Execute solutions to business problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, statistical modeling, and machine learning methods Continuously develop and demonstrate advanced analysis techniques Have strong analytical skills and be comfortable owning data and working from concept through to execution Determine a business problem and the available data, and identify what analysis and modeling procedures can be applied to answer a business question Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve decision-making Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support business intelligence and analytics Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Computer Science At least 2+ years of experience in modeling/AI or a related field Proven comfort and intellectual curiosity for working with extremely large sets of data, and hands-on experience in predictive modeling Strong knowledge of one or both of R or Python Experience in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from multiple sources to highlight patterns and relationships Understanding of how and when to apply predictive and machine learning procedures like logistic regression, random forests, GBM, Neural Nets, SVM, etc. Proficiency in using database querying tools and able to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL or Microsoft T-SQL Hands-on experience in using Big Data environments (Hadoop/Spark), API Gateways, and non-structured data will be an plus Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in a quantitative field like Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or MBA Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and tools Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
