Position Overview: Agency Sales Manager

Are you a results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales and business development? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where strategic thinking and relationship-building are key to success? arenaflex is seeking an experienced Agency Sales Manager to join our corporate sales team and lead our partnerships with Travel Management Companies (TMCs).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who possesses deep expertise in corporate travel management and is looking to take their career to the next level. As the Agency Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary expert for TMC business at arenaflex, exercising significant judgment to drive revenue growth and build lasting partnerships with corporate clients. You'll work independently with minimal direction, leveraging your industry knowledge and sales acumen to maximize market share and yield across individual markets.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the arenaflex sales team, you will be responsible for the following:


Act as the subject matter expert for Travel Management Company (TMC) business, serving as the primary point of contact for all TMC-related inquiries and initiatives.
Build strategic business relationships with TMC accounts, focusing on creating valuable business travel learning experiences that benefit both arenaflex and our corporate partners.
Exercise independent judgment in managing pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations for all TMC agreements, with the goal of securing the highest possible market share and yield in individual markets.
Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop and execute contract-based arrangements that protect arenaflex while fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
Analyze revenue, commissions, and agreement performance to ensure target compliance and profitability across all TMC accounts.
Develop marketing-related promotions to drive sales efforts, working closely with the marketing and business loyalty teams to create compelling offers.
Manage the establishment of TMC organizational accounts through sales calls, negotiation meetings, and coordination with the pricing team.
Plan business growth and lead the development of other corporate accounts in collaboration with the revenue management team to ensure exceptional filings are submitted on time and to drive expected revenue per agreement specifications.
Monitor reporting and statistics to identify trends and develop strategies to ensure arenaflex is properly positioned in the market.
Oversee income, commissions, and contract performance to ensure maximum revenue and market share goals are achieved.
Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex.
Prepare and execute local sales plans according to corporate sales targets, ensuring arenaflex is strategically positioned among competitors and leveraging our market position effectively.


Required Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:


Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus on the retail service industry or a related field.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, OR two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of a degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:


Prior experience in the airline or travel industry.
Previous exposure to and use of travel industry data reporting sources such as Curve and Crystal.
Proficiency with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results that benefit the organization.
Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with different teams and workgroups.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to conflicts arising from competing priorities.
