After School Teacher
Join us in doing the most important job in the world - caring for and educating our future bilingual leaders! This part-time position is Monday - Friday 1:45PM-6:00PM.
As a STAY & PLAY TEACHER, you get to:
ā¢ Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming learning environment for our preschoolers.
ā¢ Assist in preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared toward hands-on learning.
ā¢ Share the Latin culture & Spanish language with the children.
ā¢ Reinforce classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.
ā¢ Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement lessons and activities.
ā¢ Help each child reach their full potential through individualized attention engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.
ā¢ Document children's daily activities and developmental growth, and keep parents informed of any daily problems or issues.
ā¢ Maintain positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.
Requirements of a STAY & PLAY AFTERNOON TEACHER include:
ā¢ A high school degree or equivalent required college degree a plus
ā¢ Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
ā¢ Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and early childhood development
ā¢ Dependable and able to work Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
Extra credit for:
ā¢ Previous teaching experience with young children
ā¢ Experience in early childhood development
ā¢ Basic English proficiency
