You will serve as a primary clinical educator and mentor, facilitating the achievement of patient care goals through direct support and guidance to nursing staff. As an ICM Medical Director, you will chair periodic market oversight meetings with Market Medical Directors, network contractors, and nurse management to address market-specific relationship issues and practice habit opportunities. Your work will be concentrated in a specific region, but you will also collaborate with peers and non-clinical employees across the country, contributing to a national organization focused on continuous improvement in response to customer needs and expectations. Requirements
ย MD or DO degree
,
ย Active, unrestricted medical license in Ohio
,
ย Board Certified in an ABMS or AOBMS specialty
,
ย 5+ years of clinical practice experience
,
ย Intermediate or higher proficiency with managed care
,
ย 2+ years of Quality Management experience
,
ย Substantial experience using electronic clinical systems in a payer setting
,
ย Sound knowledge of the managed care industry
,
ย Strong belief in Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)
,
ย High proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
,
ย Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
