Key Responsibilities
As an Adjunct Faculty - Spanish, you will be responsible for:
Teaching Spanish language and culture courses as assigned, including day, night, and weekend classes, as well as online and dual enrollment courses
Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
Assessing student learning outcomes and providing constructive feedback
Supporting the institution's mission and vision and abiding by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies
Maintaining currency in your teaching discipline and staying up-to-date with best practices in language instruction
Collaborating with colleagues and department chairs to achieve academic program goals
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Spanish, or master's degree in Spanish literature, or master's degree in any discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
College-level teaching experience
