About the Theater Program The Theater Program at Drexel University consists of two distinct yet closely integrated components: Academics and Performance. Our program is designed to empower students to discover and develop their own voice and style in their art, with practical courses in Performance, Administration, and Technical Theatre. We serve the entire Drexel Community with engaging productions that create life-long supporters of the arts. Our program is dedicated to fostering student artistic development, creativity, and critical thinking, and we are looking for a talented educator to help us achieve this mission. Job Summary We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty Member to teach lab, lecture, and/or practicum courses in Theatre, as well as contribute to the overall mission of the Department of Performing Arts within Drexel's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for effectively teaching students in assigned classrooms or remote settings, maintaining proper course-related records, and evaluating student work and providing feedback. You will also be expected to communicate with the program director regarding any course or student issues and perform other similar duties as assigned.
