As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach courses in drafting, utilizing your industry expertise to educate and inspire students. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, including day, night, and weekend classes, as well as online and dual enrollment courses.

Key Responsibilities:


Teach courses in drafting, including day, night, and weekend classes, as well as online and dual enrollment courses
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing industry-based certifications and expertise
Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
Support the institution's mission and vision, adhering to the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies
Maintain currency in the teaching discipline, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements
Collaborate with colleagues and academic program managers to achieve program goals and objectives


Essential Qualifications:


Associate's degree and/or work experience in the field of study (drafting or related field)
Industry-based certifications in drafting, such as CAD, Revit, or other computer-related drafting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


Preferred Qualifications:


Higher education teaching experience
Experience with online and dual enrollment courses
Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technology
Experience working with diverse student populations


Skills and Competencies:


Strong knowledge of drafting principles and practices
Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and other computer-related drafting software
Excellent teaching and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
