If you’re looking for a place where you can own meaningful work, grow your career and make an impact, we’d love to meet you.About the RoleThis is a data‑centric actuarial student position focused on end‑to‑end renewal rate management for our in‑force annuity business. You will own the process—from proposing strategic assumptions to validating rates post‑deployment—and continuously improve speed, accuracy and insight through automation and creative problem solving.What you will do

Develop & propose renewal rate assumptions informed by experience studies, market dynamics and strategic objectives.
Set renewal crediting rates across multiple product lines, balancing competitiveness, profitability and policyholder value.
Implement rates in the policy administration system, partnering with IT to ensure accurate and timely deployment.
Validate implemented rates, designing automated controls to confirm accuracy.
Continuously streamline the renewal cycle, identifying opportunities to automate data flows, shorten turnaround times and enhance monitoring dashboards.
Maintain & enhance analytical tools—Excel workbooks, SQL databases, Power BI Dashboard and dbt models—to support rate setting and implementation.
Prepare and present clear insights and recommendations to actuarial, finance and executive leadership.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Development, IT and Finance to align renewal strategy and implementation with company goals.

CompensationSalary Range: $93,900 – $156,600 plus eligibility for annual bonus programsWho you are

Bachelor’s degree
ASA
4+ years of actuarial experience in life or annuity pricing, valuation or in‑force management (renewal/crediting rate experience ideal).
Ownership mentality. Able to lead processes from concept through execution with minimal direction.
Creative problem solver who thrives in non‑cookie‑cutter environments.
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
Familiarity with dbt is a strong plus.
Working knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex actuarial concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
High school diploma required.
