Accounts Payable Specialist (Fort Myers) Hybrid/Remote

Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. This position does offer possible remote hybrid opportunities! We are looking for a new team member who is -positive, energetic, able to multi-task and loves patient interaction. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience! The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for routing invoices through the paperless P2P (Procure-to-Pay) system. The Specialist will also work with internal and external customers via email and phone responding to inquires about coding, payment status and general invoice questions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Manage routing of invoices through paperless P2P system • Interact with various department managers with invoice questions • Interact with staff Accountants with coding questions • Assists vendors daily regarding payment status • Cut checks in house where needed • Review and reconcile vendor statements Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
