Accounting Lead - Part time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant with a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting skills and the ability to manage financial transactions, invoicing, and reconciliations effectively. This is a flexible, part-time position that offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Manage and process invoices, accounts receivables, and payments efficiently.
Ā Reconcile monthly and yearly accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Ā Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Ā Handle billing, expense reporting, and other financial transactions as needed.
Ā Prepare and generate financial reports to support decision-making.
Ā Collaborate with team members to address financial queries and improve accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Ā Proven experience with QuickBooks is required.
Ā Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
Ā Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ā Ability to manage financial transactions and prepare accurate reconciliations.
Ā Proficiency in managing invoicing, accounts receivables, and expense reporting.
Ā Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders effectively.
Ā Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Schedule:
Ā Part-time (flexible hours), approximately 15 - 20 hours per week.
Compensation:
Ā $20/hr to $40/hr.
