Accounting & Finance Senior Associate
This is a remote position.
Act as a genuine second-in-command to the Financial Controller, owning key financial processes.
Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable, including fortnightly debtor reports and customer follow-ups.
Support the month-end close process: bank and inter-company reconciliations, prepayments, depreciation, and balance sheet reviews.
Assist with treasury and cash management, including cash flow forecasts and liquidity optimization.
Work with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.
Mentor junior team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
Hands-on expertise with Xero and intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc.).
Prior experience with Maxio or Chargebee is a major plus – be sure to highlight this!
A strong grasp of accounting principles and proven ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations.
A methodical and tidy work style with strong attention to detail.
A self-starter mindset, with comfort operating independently while knowing when to escalate.
