The Account Executive, Inside Sales, is responsible for driving new business across the SMB and Unique Venues segments by applying a consultative sales approach to engage and close new customers.ResponsibilitiesProactively identifies and engages new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social media, and inbound lead follow-upBuilds virtual relationships with prospects across assigned territories and verticalsTargets high-impact venues and organizations that align with Tripleseat’s business goalsConducts discovery calls to uncover prospect needs and pain pointsDelivers both virtual and occasional in-person software demonstrations, customized to the audienceCrafts proposals that communicate product value and return on investmentConsistently meets or exceeds assigned revenue quotas through strategic outreach and deal managementMaintains a healthy, qualified pipeline, targeting 5x coverage relative to quotaRecords all prospect engagement and deal activity in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for accurate forecastingCollaborates with internal teams, including Marketing, Account Management, Customer Support, and Sales Development, to ensure a seamless sales processExecutes go-to-market strategies tailored to specific territories or market segmentsLeverages existing industry relationships when appropriatePrepares customized proposals and negotiates contracts that balance customer satisfaction and business goalsManages follow-up communications to drive deal closure and maintain momentumStays current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offeringsShares valuable customer feedback with internal teams to enhance product offerings and positioningOther related duties as assignedSkillsDemonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales goals within SaaS or inside sales environmentsUnderstanding of hospitality operations, including event planning, food & beverage, and venue managementStrong verbal and written communication skills; skilled in delivering virtual presentationsCapable of managing multiple deals across different sales stages efficientlyExperience using CRMs like Salesforce and comfort with new technologiesAbility to identify and resolve customer challenges with creative, tailored solutionsComfortable working in cross-functional teams and sharing knowledge to support overall successMaintains a customer-first mindset, fostering trust and long-term relationships1–3 years of experience in SaaS salesProven performance in a fast-paced, short sales cycle environmentPrior experience as a Business Development Representative is a plusBenefitsCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany Paid Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability Plans401(k) with Company MatchParental LeaveFlexible Paid Time OffPet InsuranceCompany OverviewTripleseat is the event management software for restaurants and venues.
