Position Overview:
The Regional Senior Sales Executive is a player/coach position and is responsible for driving sales through and with the AWS team responsible for all segments supported by AWS. This is a new role as we seek to further expand our North American footprint.
Responsibilities include:
Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.Build and deepen executive relationships within the AWS regional sales & partner ecosystem to drive new business opportunities. Influence long-term strategic direction with customers and serve as a business partner to them Manage entire complex sales-cycles, often presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Internal GTM teams and our AWS alliance Partners - all to maximize business results in territory and open up opportunities with customers.Actively understand each customers technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and landscape.Create proposals and Statements of Work in collaboration with the Delivery teamDrive deal profitability Measure customer satisfaction and be the voice of the customer
Qualifications:
Professional Services sales leadership experience management experience within a non-product consulting companyA minimum of 8 years Professional Services sales experience (not as part of a software company)Experience selling through/with AWS sellers and the partner organizationExperience working with AWS customers and have existing relationships with key AWS Sellers in the segmentExperience in solution sales of in the Cloud services and solutionsExperience handling Data Analytics And AI/ML projects solving various use cases across industriesAbility to work with GTM Pre sales Team to lead Sales effort across AWS sales segments from Enterprise to SMBStrong track record in working with and orchestrating partners in complex implementation projects.Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.AWS Cloud technical expertise and customer service delivery experienceExperience with services commercialization, productization, and positioning serviceswith customerExperience successfully working with senior (C-level) executivesDemonstrated ability to lead managers and successfully manage global, distributedteams across cultures, lines of business, and geographiesPossesses a strong management presence and leadership ability, with communicationand interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and teams Demonstrated excellence in analytical thinking, problem solving, communication,delegation, planning & organization and judgmentPossesses outstanding written and oral communicationAble to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealingwith ambiguityAble to collaborate across organization and with external stakeholdersHolds strong operational skills that will drive organizational efficiencies and customersatisfactionWilling and able to address escalated client issues with speed and urgencyAble to travel regionally - expected 50%
