Account Analyst
Conner Strong & Buckelew is seeking an Account Analyst to service and maintain commercial lines customers. The role involves obtaining quotations, preparing submissions, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and insurance companies.ResponsibilitiesReviews and processes Policies, Audits, and Policy changesMakes recommendations for coverage additions or changes when appropriateInteracts with Carriers and internal/external Customers to ensure delivery of exceptional customer serviceParticipates in the process of, and preparing of Renewal Submissions for Marketing including Application(s), necessary Exhibit(s), Narrative(s), collection of Loss Runs and answers to Underwriting QuestionsParticipates in account reconciliation for receivables managementSubmits Applications to Carriers and follows up to ensure timely receipt of Quotations and PoliciesProvides technical support including, but not limited to, completing Applications, Renewal Proposals, Binders, Audits, Coverage Summaries, Endorsements, Cancellations and Certificates of InsuranceAt the direction of the Account Executive, respond to and process incoming Client, Carrier and mail requestsPrepares Policy BindersResponsible for all invoicingResponsible for initial Policy Checklisting proceduresMaintains Client files that conform to company standardsMaintains workflows, tasks and incoming mail in Document Management System – WorkSmartEnsures accuracy of account data and input into the agency management system – SagittaAdheres to company policies, procedures and guidelinesOther duties, as assignedSkillsExceptional organization and Client Service SkillsExcellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsSelf starter, flexible, able to multi-task and handle responsibilities with minimal supervisionProficiency required in Microsoft products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint requiredAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorshipProperty and Casualty Producer LicenseCollege degree preferredKnowledge of Document Management and Agency Management Systems preferredARM, CRIS, CPCU and other specialized designations as appropriateBenefitsParticipation in family medical and dental insurance programs401K planPTOCompany OverviewConner Strong & Buckelew is an insurance brokerage, employee benefits and risk management consulting firm.
