Access Specialist-Remote to Indiana (Part -time)

The Access Specialist serves as the organization's first point of contact. This is a remote position in Indiana and the ability to be on call is required. The incumbent is responsible for managing and directing all incoming calls, scheduling assessment appointments and intakes, and managing referrals for new clients in Indiana's various behavioral health programs. Applicants must demonstrate excellent customer service and adaptability. As a part-time weekend position there are a variety of administrative tasks that will be assigned during low call volume times. Our work touches the mind, body, heart – and ultimately the spirit – of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services. A valid driver’s license is required in addition to a driving record that complies with Volunteers of America only if the employee is assigned to a transport program, participants, or any other type of activity that mandates driving. Saturday & Sunday 8am-8pm. Part time only. Required from 12-1pm on Fridays for Team Meeting. 25 hours/week total. Apply tot his job
