Job Summary:
We are seeking an Academic Tutor/Behavioral Coach to provide one-on-one support to students in areas such as academic support, social and emotional skills, and executive functioning skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, psychology, or a related field, with experience working with children and adolescents who face behavioral, social, or emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students through one-on-one coaching sessions, tailored to their individual needs and goals
Prepare engaging lessons and activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth
Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, schedules, and goals
Track student progress and update our goal-tracking system regularly
Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless support and communication
Benefits and Perks:
Flexible hours and schedules, with opportunities for part-time or full-time work
Competitive pay rate of $25-$35 per hour, depending on education and experience
Paid sick time, client-to-client drive time, and training opportunities
Eligibility for pay increases every 6 months and ongoing professional development

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in education, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
2+ years of experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral, social, or emotional challenges
Availability to work at least 3 weekdays from 3 pm-7 pm, with occasional morning and weekend hours
Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and valid CA Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion
