As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water and basic knowledge of safety considerations
Comfortable in deep water with basic ability to use watercraft
Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam
Experience working with, or teaching children preferred
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred but not essential
18+ years of age
