In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining our scalable e-commerce solution on the VTEX platform. You will play a key role in enabling seamless customer experiences, optimizing site performance, and extending core VTEX capabilities to meet evolving business needs. decisions. Some of the main responsibilities for the role include: Design and implement customizations to our e-commerce site to meet our evolving business needs. Develop storefront and back-end components, integrations, and applications leveraging VTEX APIs and REST APIs. Collaborate with technology, UX designers, digital marketing, and product management teams to translate business requirements into functional and efficient code. Maintain and enhance existing VTEX implementation, ensuring stability, performance, and security. Maintain integrations with third-party services such as payment gateways, analytics tools, and D365 FO systems. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. Participate in Scaled Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Job Skills/Requirements - +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills - 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years working directly on the VTEX platform. - Experience with VTEX IO, Store Framework, VTEX CMS, and custom app deployment. - VTEX Developer Certification. - Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, and GraphQL - Strong understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, and microservices integration. - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. - Must be able to communicate and collaborate with leadership, product managers, and technology feature teams. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to code quality and user experience. - Knowledge of e-commerce business processes, digital merchandising, and omnichannel commerce (preferred). - Experience integrating VTEX with platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other enterprise systems (preferred). - Understanding of SEO, web analytics, and performance optimization techniques (preferred) We are Software Mind , an awesome team of engineers who are ready to ramp up any top-notch company’s projects!
